The Universal Audio UAFX OX Stomp introduces the sonic likeness of Universal Audio's modern flagship, the OX Amp Top Box, into the UAFX engine. This dynamic speaker emulator pedal is designed to work in tandem with any amp modeler/amp-in-a-box to provide not only realistic speaker and cabinet tones, but even more so studio quality control at your feet and fingertips.

On the face of the OX Stomp are controls for Room level, Speaker Drive, master output, and six selectable Rigs - a feature borrowed directly from the OX Top. Two independent microphone models, each with their own independent level controls, are selectable between Dynamic, Condenser, and Ribbon mic styles. The back panel features stereo I/Os and USB-C connectivity, as found on all UAFX pedals. However, these features merely scratch the surface of the OX Stomps capabilities.

Via the UAFX Control app, users can fully customize the responses in the OX Stomp. There is an entire library of cabinets, speakers, microphones, and outboard effects all selectable in UAFX Control. Footswitches A and B on the OX Stomp can be programmed to control sounds and/or effects, and six unique rigs can be saved to the OX Stomp much as would be found on the full size OX Top.

It is important to keep in mind that the OX Stomp IS NOT a loadbox that can drive an amplifier's speaker output or act as a power attenuator as would the OX Top. The OX Stomp is built as a tonal solution for instrument and line level. It provides users with the customization of the full dimension of their cabinet response and the most realistic speaker emulations possible in a pedal.
